Terrôir Civil Ltd is a civil company based in Whitford, Auckland. We major in general subdivision work; site clearances; house cuts; landscape improvements; driveways; and other jobs that involve the movement of earth!

General subdivision work

Terrôir Civil Ltd can provide the full earthworks contract work for your subdivision. We have successful track records with engineers and clients to work with them in order to get the development on time and on budget. We specialise in rural subdivisions on the edges of Auckland City. We have an extensive network of sub-contractors who we work with to make your job run efficiently and profitably. We have worked with these sub-contractors for many years and have total confidence in their ability to meet the standards required by Terrrôir Civil Ltd and its customers.

Site clearance

Site clearance for house builds is a service we provide to a number of local builders in the Whitford – Beachlands – Maraetai area. We can clear the site of buildings or trees, do the site cut and then assist with any landscaping requirements. We have specialised equipment that can assist greatly with positioning of rocks or logs or removing unwanted trees.

Driveways and retaining walls

Along with site clearance and house cuts Terrôir Civil Ltd has extensive experience in driveways – concrete; Asphalt; Chip Seal; and bare metal. We are also set up for retaining wall work and work closely with many local builders in wall construction.

Sub Contract Work

With our quality range of excavators, rollers and trucks we are ideally suited for large earthworks sub contractor work. Terrôir Civil Ltd has worked with many of the large contractors in their developments and we enjoy a good working relationship with these companies.

Stephen Mason – Owner

Stephen has over 20 years experience in the property industry and began Terrôir Ltd in 2006 to work in the development sector. He has extensive experience in Resource Consents and a wide knowledge of the planning systems with Auckland Council. ” There is nothing better than being at the beginning of a project/development and working out the resources necessary to make it work efficiently and as smoothly as possible”

Sean Campbell – Site Foreman

Sean has worked around machinery all his working life and is an excellent manager of people and machines. He prides himself on his ability to get a job done in a clean and tidy minor. “I enjoy taking a job from someone’s idea to physical reality”

Robbie Takotohiwi – Lead operator and H&S

Robbie is a quality digger operator with experience in subdivision work as well as house cuts and driveways. He has worked hard to become proficient in Health & Safety and is a qualified Health and Safety Manager.

Although it is very unusual for a company the size of Terrôir Civil Ltd to have a dedicated HSM – we all believe it is essential that both our people and clients are kept safe in our working environment.

Nadine Hughes – Company Accountant

Nadine provides all the backroom work for the company and ensures our invoices are correct and our sub contractors are paid accurately and on time.  She is always ready to discuss any issues our clients may have and is the best point of contact for any accounting queries.
